Center Staffer Teaches Overton Students about Renewable Energy

Amanda Lanier, the Center’s programming coordinator, presented a program at Overton Elementary School in Salisbury April 16. Nearly 150 third and fourth graders learned about renewable and nonrenewable energy sources. Then they created a “superhero” that got its power from renewable energy. Teachers dressed up as Energy Superheroes as an example of what a superhero could look like.
